Advance payment – The volunteer will
simply pay in advance the full $200 that he / she will collect
from selling the scarves. This takes away the pressure of
needing to sell them on a timetable, and saves us the worry
and financial strain of having our scarves “out there”
for an extended period of time. If you can afford to do it
this way, it is preferable to us, but we are thankful for
your help, and want you to choose the option that is most
convenient for you!
Shared-risk –The volunteer will simply
pay our cost for the scarves in advance ($100) and then send
the remaining $100 once he / she has sold the scarves. We
want to, and do trust our volunteers, but we won’t always
have the money to purchase and send the scarves in without
payment, and we need to be wise in protecting ourselves from
theft (since otherwise it would be easy for someone to simply
have a lot of scarves sent to them without intending to send
the money).
Free-sending – Some people just won’t
have the money to pay in advance, even half, but still want
to help. No problem! You can simply have us send the scarves
to you, and then pay us after you have sold them. This option
requires either a credit card number (it won’t be charged
unless / until you say so) or you can apply to have the scarves
sent without a credit card number.
